JBL Professional's M2 Master Reference Monitor started with the overwhelming acceptance of the monitors by the professional recording community so we wanted to spread the word.
The hero shot of the M2 was used throughout the launch of the product which was slightly touched up and dropped in a studio like an environment. Top studio engineers Frank Filipetti, Joseph Maggie and Bruce Bodrick were featured sharing their experiences of the M2. Inner components were also highlighted to show the level of technology and high-end components that comprised these speakers. The third talking point was their applications. The designs were originally created for the brochure and were used throughout marketing assets. The last section was a link to a special page with information of vendors demoing and selling the M2s.
The email was sent out to 15,500 recipients with a 46% open rate, highest rate to date.
The M2 campaign was built in Constant Contact using Photoshop, HTML and CSS.
